Every smile starts with an initial consultation!
Questions are always a part of any new endeavor. That is why we invite you to contact our office for an initial consultation. We will discuss these five essential questions throughout your visit.
- Is there an orthodontic problem, and if so, what is it?
- What must be done to correct the problem?
- Will any teeth need to be removed?
- How long will the treatment take to complete?
- How much will the treatment cost?
What happens after your initial consultation?
Once you decide orthodontic treatment is right for you, you’re one step closer to achieving a wonderful smile. We will schedule your first appointment and your orthodontist will place your braces. The length of this appointment generally takes about an hour. During this time our staff will make sure you are as comfortable as possible.
Appointments are scheduled according to each patient’s needs. Most patients in braces will be seen every six to eight weeks. If there are specific situations that require more frequent monitoring, we will schedule appointments accordingly.
We are here to serve you. We want your appointments to be as convenient as possible so let us know what days and times work best for you. When you are ready to schedule your first appointment, contact our practice and our friendly staff will assist you. We are looking forward to working with you.
Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment
Regular checkups with your family dentist are a vital part of your oral health. Your family dentist will determine the intervals between cleaning appointments while you are in braces. We are happy to coordinate with your family dentist to ensure that you are receiving the best care possible.
